Norse Gods and Spirits
There are many gods and spirits...well, in general, but also just within Norse paganism.
The most well known group of deities in the realm of Norse mythology is the Æsir ("Aesir" from here on out). The Aesir are typically thought of as the "gods of society" due to their associations with the human experience (ie social life, culture, community, warfare).
Slightly less known is the Vanir, often considered the gods of nature, in contrast to the Aesir.
