Ava is kind and outgoing, with a deep faith in the gods. She is deeply loyal to her friends and has a strong sense of justice. She initially struggled with being a watcher, but eventually came to see it as a blessing. Her faith in the gods was admittedly shaken, but she still chooses to serve them.

Godlike are legally gender and sexless in the Aedyr Empire, but she views herself as a woman and would have been assigned female at birth had she not been godlike.

She respects the science of animancy, but was initially a little skeptical of the practice.

Ava is a godlike born to elven parents. Her skin is green and she has yellowish freckles on her cheeks and veins that look like leaves. She has horns that come out of her head, starting at the forehead and twist back, splitting in the middle with the main part going back and the bottom half curling forward in a semicircle. The horns look like wood and have moss towards the base. Her hair hangs over one shoulder in a large braid, covered in purple flowers.

History

BACKGROUND

Ava was born in the Aedyr Empire in 2797 on the 13th of Majprima. Her parents were elves and saw her being godlike as a blessing. Her upbringing was pretty decent and she was given a good education. She devoted herself to the divine as a teenager, spending most of her life afterwards in a monastery studing holy texts. When she was older, she led a congregation, but this was cut short when the town she preached in was sacked. Following this event, she booked passage to Gilded Vale with no real plans, just to see where life would take her. At some point during the period between being in the monastery and leading her own congregation, she joined up with the Kind Wayfarers and trained as a paladin.
