Day Four: Birth, Death & Rebirth
I feel like my answers here aren't going to be very interesting. Everything is inherently sacred, but birth isn't uniquely sacred to me. I understand why it would be to other people, but I do not plan on having kids, so it just does not interest me.
Death is more interesting to me and always has been. There are many interesting customs related to birth, of course, but death has always been a topic of fascination for me. We are all going to die one day, after all. However, I do not actually have any real thoughts on what happens after we die. I believe that, as a living person, that is not information I am meant to have. I assume I'll go where ever my ancestors went, but beyond that, it just isn't something I think I'm meant to know until the time comes.
I don't know what I believe with regards to rebirth. I think I believe in past lives to an extent, but I also think we can interact with ancestors. I don't know if those are conflicting, but they feel a little bit like they are. This is kind of similar to the death thing though. I am not meant to know how this works. I don't think every question necessarily needs an answer either.
